This is the first step in the process of acquiring one of my beautiful puppies.

My puppies....

My focus is to produce conformationally correct, healthy, happy, well socialized puppies. I strive to see my dogs not only beautiful, but intelligent, active family companions that you will be proud to own, love and live with. I take great pride in raising my dogs and puppies with my family in our home located in Saint John, New Brunswick. I enjoy taking my dogs to shows, allowing them to be judged by experts to keep within the approved breed standard of the Canadian Kennel Club. I breed only to better the breed and to have beautiful, healthy show dogs for myself. Showing and breeding is a wonderful hobby and a passion of mine.

Sailormade's Puppy Buyer Application

The below form must be completed and submitted to me before you will be considered for one of my puppies. Please answer each question honestly as there is no right or wrong answer. The answers you provide will assist me in matching your home with the right puppy.

How many family members are in your home? Please share their ages, work schedules and experience with dogs? Do you have young children/grandchildren who visit your home?

Type of dwelling (house, apartment, condo)? Do you have a fenced in yard? Your puppy needs to be supervised outside at all times to keep them safe. Are you willing to always take your puppy outside on a leash/harness to go potty or for exercise?

Will the puppy be alone during the day? If so, for how many hours? Who will be responsible for feeding/exercising the puppy? Does this person have experience caring for dogs?

Do you currently have any other pets in the home? If so, please give details. Have you owned a dog before? If so, please give details as to what breed, how long you had the dog, where the dog is now etc. Have you ever given a dog to a shelter, rescue etc. If so, please explain.

All Sailormade puppies are sold on a "limited" Canadian Kennel Club registration and not allowed to be used for breeding. Are you willing to sign a spay/neuter contract?

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and share any other relevant information you feel would assist us in placing a puppy in your home. Are you interested in a Havanese or a Yorkshire? Do you have a preferred sex, color (Havanese), energy level etc. Do you have a time frame in which you woud like to have a puppy?
